Abstracts Deadlines, Overview and Selection Criteria Late News Submission Process Open Poster Submission Process Open Poster Abstract Reference Number Request Upload My Open Poster Submission		Late News Deadlines and Due Dates (No Deadline Extensions): Obtain Abstract Reference Number Deadline - March 13, 2006 Late News 2 page Abstract Submission 15 Hardcopies to PMMI Due: March 14, 2006 Late News Author Notification (by e-mail): March 21, 2006 Late News Technical Digest Manuscript Submission due on-line: March 27, 2006 Deadline for Late News 4 Hardcopies and Electronic discs to PMMI: March 30, 2006 The Hilton Head Workshop Technical Program Committee process reviews the Late News abstracts in hardcopy printed format. Each abstract must have an abstract reference number assigned to it. Please view the procedure below to receive your "Late News" abstract reference number and submit your 15 hardcopies. It is an EASY 3 Step Procedure to complete this submission process. Complete the on-line Abstract Reference Number Request form to receive your abstract submission reference number. This on-line process to complete the form will be available through March 14, (11:59 p.m. Hawaii time) and must be completed before submitting the abstract. Please make sure to indicate your abstract submission reference number in the upper right hand corner of your abstract. Please prepare your 2 page paper in the format stated in this Sample Document Guidelines. Again, you are limited to two pages for the "Late News" although the sample is in three pages. IMPORTANT - When preparing your Late News Abstract - please remember that if your abstract is selected to be presented at the meeting, your paper will be printed in the technical digest and CD ROM. You will have two days to review your paper and make any minor changes, remove the reference number and re-submit if for final printing in the technical digest. Since this will be such a quick turn-around for submission into the Technical Digest, please download this Copyright Form in hopes that your paper is accepted and please start your process of obtaining your copyright signatures today. Send fifteen (15) original hardcopies to: (DUE DATE is March 14th by 11:59:59): Hilton Head 2006 Workshop C/o PMMI 307 Laurel Street San Diego, CA 92101-1630 619-232-9499 In the past, the Hilton Head Workshops have used Kinko's as an option to print out and deliver the abstracts for submission. Due to Kinko's ineffectiveness of the submission process and the fact that the Review Committee requires hard copy submissions, PMMI will now accept and print out on high quality paper the 15 copies of your abstracts for $12.00 for Black & White copies or $18.00 for Color copies. PMMI will need to receive payment for your printing before they will process your print job.
