Seaport Village Open Poster Session Submission Deadline: June 22, 2005

The purpose of the Open Poster Session is to further encourage sharing of possibly preliminary or incomplete results and to stimulate discussion at the Workshop.

Two of the acceptance criteria for regular contributed papers will be relaxed for open posters:
  1. First-ever presentation. Papers very recently published, or presented at another technical meeting (e.g. MEMS 2005, Transducers '05), or papers having only incremental new results relative to recent presentations, will be considered.

  2. Completeness of results. Papers where results are preliminary, and full testing has not been completed, will be considered.
The work presented must fall within the scope of the workshop as described above, and must be presented in a technical fashion. Purely commercial or marketing materials are not acceptable. The Technical Program Chairman has the sole discretion to decide which papers may be presented. You must be a registered participant of the conference to present an open-poster.

Open poster abstracts are limited to 1 page, including all text, references, and figures, and will be used for acceptance decisions only. Open Poster abstracts submitted prior to June 22 will not be published in the conference proceedings, but will be printed as a handout and distributed to the attendees on-site. Open Posters will be accepted on-site, but will not be included in the distribution as a printed handout of your abstract. Authors of accepted open posters will be expected to participate in the Open Poster Session.

Please send your submissions to the Workshop at info@INSS2005.org

To prepare your poster for presentation, the poster board will be on an easel and is 40 inches high by 32 inches wide. Once we receive your submission for an open poster, you will receive the exact details for setting up your poster during the meeting.
